I started bathroom reno for my mom 8 years ago! It had gray carpet, 1950’s plastic tiles halfway up the walls, & black plastic baseboards.
Some tile came off due to water damage. When I removed others, I couldn’t get glue off. I tried sanding, adhesive remover, & spackling over.
When I still couldn’t get down to the drywall, I used a high-bonding primer and paint to try to fill in the grooves.
We replaced the carpet with linoleum, but because the walls weren’t finished properly, the floor now has water damage too.
This is a one bedroom house, so my mom has been living with this for 8 years. Please help me finish professionally. New toilet; bad walls.
